Crochet is a technique of knitting that is normally used to work with wool or thread, it is said that crochet evolved from traditional Arabic, South American or Chinese practices, but there is no consistent proofs of this work until the eighteenth century where it became popular in Europe.

Nowadays, there are crochets from different materials such as steel, aluminum or plastic in different sizes, all these will depend on which thread or wool you want to use.
